Thank you for applying for a subsidised desexing voucher.
Hawkesbury City Council is committed to assisting those in the community with desexing their pet who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
Desexing is not only important for the health of your pet, but it also helps to prevent unwanted litters that contribute to the overpopulation problem in our community.
Discounted Desexing Fees:
Dog desexing for $99
Cat desexing for $49
There is a limit of two vouchers per household and free microchipping is included.
If you have a cat or dog and require subsidised desexing for your pet, you must be an eligible resident. To qualify for this program, you must be a:
Permanent resident of the Hawkesbury Local Government Area
Pension, concession or government health care card holder or,
Low-income earner, below $50,000 per year
Seeking to desex an owned pet
Please note: This program is not for breeders or those seeking to make a profit by selling the pet after desexing. Council reserves the right to refuse the issuing of a voucher with no explanation.
